Story

After I had perfected the Miranda class, the knowledge that both starship classes are so similar let me not rest. Now was it possible to increase the fleet by another starship class  without much effort.

First version

To get the Soyuz class I had slightly to change my initial version of the Miranda class. The sections that make up the Miranda class got their connecting bridge, I left on each side to drop down. Those should now be the additional weaponry. From the fourth plat (one for the saucer two for the gondolas) I formed the turret.

Unfortunately I modeled my ship after the image you see on the top of this article. Therefore I could not see that this ship has same turrets on down side like on the upper side. So my model got only the turret on the upper side.
